Step 4. Prepare to start stitching by pushing the presser foot lever down to lower the presser foot. Make sure the presser foot touches the fabric. Then lower the needle by turning the handwheel away from you. You are ready to start stitching. Before you start the mini sewing machine, bring the loose top and bottom threads to the back of the sewing machine.
Step 5. With your fabric, presser foot, needle, and thread properly aligned, turn on the sewing machine. Press the foot pedal with your foot to start sewing. Hold the fabric and move it along as the machine sews.
2. Make A Back Stitch
Step 1. Making a backstitch on a mini sewing machine is easy. There are two ways to do this. First, you can do it as you sew. Normally, the backstitch is made at the end of a line of sewing. It helps to keep the stitches in place. With a mini sewing machine, you can press the backstitch button or lever. It is located at the front of the machine.
Pressing this button causes the machine to make stitches in the opposite direction. You can do it at the start and end of the stitching.
Step 2. You can also make a backstitch with a mini sewing machine by turning your project through 180 degrees. This is suitable for mini sewing machines without a backstitch button. At the end of your stitching, turn your fabric 180 degrees. This causes a backstitch to be formed on your fabric.
3. Thread And Wind Bobbins

Step 2. Pull up the top spindle and insert your thread. Make sure that your thread sits on the spindle in a perfect P.
Step 3. Press the handwheel and turn counterclockwise to release the spindle from behind the wheel.
Step 4. Insert the bobbin into the spindle extending from the handwheel of your mini sewing machine.
Step 5. Pull a length of thread from the spool of thread at the top. Roll it around the middle shaft of the bobbin a few times.
Step 6. Power on your mini sewing machine. Make sure that the front thread is loaded to facilitate the movement of the spindles.
Step 7. Place your finger underneath the thread coming from the spool at the top. Your finger acts like a pulley as the bobbin loads up the thread. Once your bobbin is full, stop your mini sewing machine.
Step 8. Remove the threaded bobbin from the spindle and load it into the bobbin case. Thread the mini sewing machine and get ready to start stitching.
How to Troubleshoot Mini Sewing Machine Problems?
Step 1. The mini sewing machine also has commonly occurring problems. These problems include thread tangling in the bobbin, mini sewing machine not sewing, tension adjustments, and needle not moving among other problems.
